Controller X - Use your Controller as a mouse!

📰 ControllerX v1.0 — Launch Announcement 🎮

Hey everyone!

Today I’m releasing ControllerX, a small but surprisingly useful Windows utility that lets you use your Xbox controller as a mouse.
It started as a simple idea: “What if I could move my PC cursor from the couch?” — and turned into a fun little side project built with Python.

After some testing, tweaking, and a lot of trial and error, it’s finally stable enough to share publicly.

💡 What ControllerX Does

  • Move your cursor with the left stick

  • Scroll with the right stick

  • A = left click, B = right click

  • Built-in dashboard to adjust speed and deadzone

The program now also comes with a proper installer and uninstaller, so it feels like a real desktop app — not just a test script.

🧰 Why I Made It

I’ve always liked simple, functional tools — and this one is honestly just useful.
Whether you’re on a media PC, have accessibility needs, or just want to lean back with a controller in hand — ControllerX works right out of the box.

It doesn’t run any background services, collect data, or require internet access. Just launch and use.

💖 Free, but support is welcome

ControllerX is completely free, but if you like it, you can support future updates by leaving a small donation (or just a nice comment — both make me happy 😄).

🧱 Built With

Made in Python, packaged for Windows.
This page and release text were written with a little help from AI, since English isn’t my native language — so excuse any weird phrasing 😅

🚀 What’s Next

I’m already thinking about:

  • Optional autostart toggle

  • Tray icon for quick settings

  • Maybe profile presets (slow/fast modes)

If you’ve got ideas or feedback, please drop a comment — I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks for checking out ControllerX ❤️
